THE search is on once again for South Africa's junior best baker as The Taste Master Junior returns for its highly anticipated second season.
With 12 enthusiastic teenagers battling it out in the kitchen, the stakes are high for them to not only claim the title but also to secure the coveted bragging rights that accompany it.
Last season, Cape Town's 14-yearold Jahzara Ranjith emerged victorious, crowning her the nation's firstever Taste Master Junior champion.
Ranjith outperformed her eager rivals, Afton Mathys from the Mother City and second runner-up Tineke Louw, a talented 16-year-old from Paarl, in a competition filled with flair and creativity.
