Magnite earns coveted five-star safety rating

BUILT in India and sold in South Africa, the new Nissan Magnite has been awarded a five-star overall safety rating by the Global New Car Assessment Programme (GNCAP).
This is a significant improvement from its original two-star rating.
It received a perfect rating in adult safety and a three-star rating in child safety, accumulating an overall five-star safety rating for the passengers.
Protocol
Global NCAP’s crash test protocols assess frontal and side impact protection for all models, as well as Electronic Stability Control (ESC). Pedestrian protection and side pole impact protection assessments are required for vehicles scoring the highest star ratings.
