AS THE relentless Betway Premiership schedule unfolds, Kaizer Chiefs are adopting the strategic approach of squad rotation to maintain their position as serious title contenders.

- HERMAN GIBBS

Amid the whirlwind of 11 fixtures crammed into just 48 days, Chiefs play Marumo Gallants at Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein today at 7.30pm.

Following their recent triumph in the CAF Confederation Cup against ZESCO United, co-coach Khalil Ben Youssef highlighted the challenge posed by such a congested fixture list. He affirmed the necessity of utilising their squad depth to navigate this intense period successfully.

“We know this month is so busy for us; every two or three days, we have a game. We'll play 11 games in 48 days, so that we will need the entire squad,” stated Ben Youssef. “We have big squads so that we can make rotation, and we can allow for the other players to take rest.”
