Viktor thankful for his top support act as he helps Potters to fly

STOKE City supporters, as well as Viktor Johansson, probably owe a big thank you to his fiancée.

Johansson, aged 27, has just become a dad for the second time, welcoming a second son last week. He was in Stockholm with her for the birth but she gave her blessing for him to whip straight back to England to carry on playing such a key role in Stoke's excellent start to the season.

She is surrounded by family and friends and Viktor is walking on air at the moment.

“It’s been amazing,” he said. “My missus is unbelievable, the work she does for me. It’s tough that she’s at home in Stockholm and I'm here and she’s doing all the hard work for me to be here and focus on football. She is unbelievable and I owe her a lot of thanks.”
