25 more projects after scheme’s success
A SCHEME which involves small businesses getting expert advice from Keele University has proved to be so successful that it’s being rolled out again.
The university-led initiative connected undergraduate and postgraduate students with dozens of small businesses to help them grow and innovate.
The Flourish project - which provided support to local enterprises in Newcastle borough - is open for applications again to build on the strong impact and positive feedback from both students and business owners.
The university can run 25 fully-funded projects in the borough, with students or recent graduates working with eligible businesses for up to 75 hours per project.
