Tot Theo 'has never felt the sun on his skin' after being born with severe heart defects

A MUM has been told her six-month-old son may have just weeks to live after being born with severe heart defects.
Little Theo has never left hospital after being born at the Royal Stoke University Hospital and then being transferred to a specialist hospital.
The mum-of-four’s pregnancy had been smooth until a routine check-up at the Royal Stoke in October.
Now Rebecca Woodward wants to bring her tot home ‘to make some memories together’ and has started an online fundraiser.
Rebecca, of Burslem, said: “I got to 34 weeks pregnant and went to a growth scan where they found something wrong with his heart.
They found that Theo had critical aortic stenosis, severe mitral valve regurgitation, and poor left ventricular function.
“I was given an emergency C-section three days later. When Theo was born, he wasn’t breathing. They had to incubate him - he was really, really poorly. We didn’t think he was going to make it. I was told that I should bless him while I had the chance.
