Promotion for Junho as he nets senior service call

BAE Junho has been called back up to South Korea’s senior squad after just one outing back with the under-22s.

There was surprise when the Stoke City playmaker, aged 21, was picked in the junior squad for this summer's internationals but a star turn against Australia has seen him elevated into the main group.
The Seoul press claim that Junho was “the player who stood out the most from both teams” in a draw with Australia and he will now be involved in a World Cup qualifier against Kuwait tomorrow (Tuesday). Korea won 2-0 against Iraq on Thursday, when Ali Al Hamadi was sent off for the opposition.
