New owner vows to 'do his best' after Moorcroft rescue

POTTERY giant Moorcroft has been saved from liquidation - and returned to family ownership.
The firm has been bought by Will Moorcroft, grandson of the company's founder, William Moorcroft.
The firm, which was established in 1913, went bust in April after more than 100 years in business. Directors blamed the ever-growing pressures of the cost of living crisis for the sudden closure, which resulted in 57 workers losing their jobs.
