Moore: Valiants missed calm heads in home defeat to Orient

It looked like being a point apiece, a respectable point at that too having trailed Leyton Orient, last season’s playoff losers at Wembley, only to be beaten in the 95th minute.

And Moore admitted: “We didn’t sense the dangers. I feel for them because they put so much into the game. They really did. Nobody knocks the spirit, the endeavour, the commitment, but at certain times we just need some calm heads on the pitch and that was lacking. Just a lapse of concentration again which was there for all to see and we give the points away.

“I said (to his players) you've put so much into the game lads, so much effort, commitment, endeavour, drive to get back into the game and a game you looked like you were going to go on and win but you have still got to make sure that you don’t throw the game away because the opportunity will present itself and we will work one.
