Police appeal for witnesses
MASS trouble erupted as a group of masked off-road bikers attacked a man with an axe and a knife.
The violence flared on Dividy Road in Bucknall following an 'altercation'.
It culminated with the victim being taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital after reportedly being stabbed.
The alarm was raised shortly after 3pm on Tuesday as disorder broke out near the Trent Tavern pub.
