Machete and 100 plants seized from cannabis factories

A MACHETE, weapons and suspected cocaine were seized when police raided two cannabis factories on the same city estate.
Officers forced their way inside a property in St Nicholas Avenue, Norton, ‘as part of an investigation into drug cultivation in the area’.
They discovered 20 cannabis plants inside a bedroom and ‘a quantity of white powder’. More cannabis was also found across three rooms at a home in nearby Smithyfield Road. In total about 100 plants were found in the properties.
