Potters fan Paul set for 300-mile 'stomp' based around landmark cities in former boss's career
STOKE City fan and serial charity walker Paul Venables is set to embark on his most gruelling fundraising trek to date - in homage to his idol Lou Macari.
The 50-year-old - also known as the Bearded Wanderer - will 'stomp' 300 miles from Scotland to Stoke-on-Trent, taking in landmarks from Lou's career.
He hopes to raise £2,000 to split between The Macari Foundation, which supports the homeless, and The Davies Foundation, which supports small, grassroots charities and causes.
