Jail for rapist who secretly filmed his victim getting undressed

Man, 42, will be deported when released

RAPIST Jaroslaw Adamkowski has been jailed for more than seven years.

The 42-year-old raped a woman and also filmed her while she was in 'states of undress' last year.

Adamkowski, of King Street, Longton, pleaded guilty to rape and two charges of voyeurism when he appeared at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court in October. The offending happened early last year.

Prosecutor Hunter Gray said the victim reported the offending to the police.

Officers examined the defendant's phone and found videos he had made of his victim.

Mr Gray said: “She was changing her clothes and getting undressed in a corridor. Footage showed him stealthily approaching her and filming her around a corner.”
