Growing estate praised for 'energy-efficient properties'

CITY MP Dr Allison Gardner toured a major new Stoke-on-Trent housing estate - as work starts on the second phase of the complex.
The Stoke-on-Trent South MP joined bosses from Barratt Homes at its Waterside development in Trentham.
She was invited to the canalside community on Chessington Crescent for a tour of the development now the housebuilder has entered the next stage of the growing neighbourhood.
She was given an insight into the energy-efficient features of the properties and viewed the show homes with Rhys Nicholson, managing director at Barratt Homes Manchester, alongside the housebuilder’s site and sales team in Trentham.
The MP was also able to see the progress made in the construction of Waterside, which has recently edged past the 55% sold mark.
