MODDERSHALL & Oulton fourths picked up their first NSSCL Division Four win of the season with victory over Silverdale seconds.
The Modd men, who remain at the foot of the standings, had lost their opening 11 matches of the campaign.
But they finally had something to cheer as they secured a 10-run success against Silverdale.
D Stevenson's 54, which included nine fours, was backed up by K Hameed (32) and J Stones (27) as Moddershall & Oulton posted 150-8 from their 40 overs.
G Porter (3-7) and S James (3-36) did the damage with the ball for the home side.
James then top-scored with 41 in Silverdale’s reply, but they were bowled out for 140.
L Price picked up 4-5, Z Ishfaq claimed 3-24 and there were a couple of wickets for T Greatrex.
Audlem closed the gap to top spot to seven points after beating Knypersley seconds.
Table-topping Ashcombe Park 2nd XI suffered a defeat at Hem Heath, which enabled Audlem to ramp up the pressure.
Audlem put themselves on track for a seventh win of the campaign by amassing 260-7 from their 40 overs in the first half of Saturday's encounter.
Half-centuries from D Blatherwick and I Shaik helped the hosts to their imposing total.
