MARK Robins reiterated the need for Stoke City forwards to be sharper with final decisions as he lamented leaving Ipswich without a point.

- Peter Smith

Stoke were trailing almost from the get-go when Jaden Philogene buried a 25-yarder but they had created a series of decent openings to draw level without being able to take them.

"We were brave," said Robins. "We took part in a game against a team that got relegated from the Premier League last year and has lost some good players, reinvested it well and the club - you can see, this is new, the dressing rooms are new, it looks new, it looks like an improved club. Kieran (McKenna) coaches them really well.

"There are a lot of similarities between their patterns and ours, which was interesting for us to see. I think that the difference was the quality of the finish from Philogene after minute two. That was something I was frustrated with.
