Cops launch new operation across city
POLICE say they will be carrying out 'targeted operations' this month to combat the ongoing off-road bike problem across Stoke-on-Trent.
It comes as officers say they have seized 35 ‘nuisance’ bikes in the Potteries this year.
Now Staffordshire Police says throughout June, cops will lean on community intelligence to carry out ‘targeted operations’ to take illegal off-road bikes and e-scooters off the roads. It represents another crackdown around trying to put the brakes on the issue affecting virtually all of the city along with parts of Newcastle and the Moorlands.
