County gets £1m for summer crackdown on troublemakers

CRIME commissioner Ben Adams is urging communities to 'take a stand' against antisocial behaviour - after being allocated £1m to tackle issues blighting the county this summer.

And he highlighted as part of Anti-Social Behaviour awareness week - what action those experiencing problems where they live can take.

The Staffordshire Commissioner has secured £1 million through a national funding pot to tackle knife crime, serious violence and ASB in the county.

It will be used to fund extra uniformed patrols in identified 'hotspot' areas for bad behaviour across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent in an attempt to crack down further on the issue.
