Choir in search for new voices

ONE of the oldest choral societies in the UK has launched a recruitment drive for new singers to sign up.

Uttoxeter Choral Society is on the lookout for new members to give singing a go this autumn. Founded in 1881, the group is one of the oldest choral societies in the UK with a continuous record of making music.

Now it is urging people to give communal singing a go, with no obligation to join.
