No roadworks near station for 30 months after multi-million pound refurbishment
ROADWORKS have been banned around the city's main station for more than two years - after millions were spent revamping the area.
Work forming part of a £29 million transport project was carried out around Station Road and College Road in a bid to improve the look of Stoke Station. The project also saw improvements between Shelton and the city centre to ease traffic to and from Hanley, while a bus gate also went in.
