Operation Sindoor – a unique convergence of military valour and reverence for women: Odisha CM Majhi

"SINDOOR is not just a name, it is a unique symbol of the courage of the Indian Army and the dignity of women," said Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, as he led the Sindoor Yatra organized at Master Canteen Square in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.

The event was held to commemorate the remarkable success of Operation Sindoor, a mission that has come to represent both national valour and the spirit of Indian womanhood.

The padyatra, a vibrant and emotional procession, was organized primarily by women under the aegis of the Mission Shakti Department, a flagship initiative for women empowerment in Odisha. The march commenced from Master Canteen Square and culminated at Ramadevi University, drawing participation from thousands of women across the state.
