National flag embodies unity and pride, says JSP Chairman Naveen Jindal

"THE National Flag represents unity, dignity, and our collective aspirations. It is a source of immense pride for every Indian," said Naveen Jindal, Member of Parliament from Kurukshetra, President of the Flag Foundation of India, and Chairman of Jindal Steel & Power (JSP), while inaugurating a 72-foot monumental National Flagpole at the Kasia Iron and Dolomite Mines in Keonjhar.

The flagpole now proudly flies a 16 x 24-foot Tricolour, standing tall as a powerful symbol of national pride and regional identity.

Invoking blessings from Maa Tarini, the revered deity of Keonjhar, and Mahaprabhu Shri Baladev Jew for the prosperity of the local community, Jindal paid tribute to the sacrifices of local freedom fighters — Dharanidhar Bhuyan, Dharanidhar Nayak, Ratna Nayak, Madan Patnaik, among others highlighting Keonjhar's significant role in India's independence struggle.

He also noted with pride that Keonjhar is the birthplace and karma bhoomi of Odisha's current Chief Minister, Mohan Charan Majhi.
