CM Majhi pledges to transform Boudh into a model district, launches ₹28-cr road project

“THE previous government had deviated from the path of progress in Boudh. Our government is committed to making it a model district,” said Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday during a review of developmental projects in Boudh district.
The Chief Minister chaired a high-level review meeting at the District Collector's Conference Hall, where he assessed the pace and quality of ongoing works and administrative performance. While expressing satisfaction over the district's recent progress, he urged officials to fast-track delayed projects and maintain strict quality standards across all sectors.
A key highlight of the visit was the launch of a Rs 28-crore road project aimed at significantly enhancing regional connectivity. The Chief Minister also reviewed the status of major infrastructure initiatives, including a 300-bed hospital, a modern bus stand, and a railway station all expected to be inaugurated soon.
