Malabon City Administrator Dr. Alexander Rosete was recognized with an honorary doctorate degree by the Thames International University, an academic institution in Paris, France, for his significant contributions in public service and leadership that helped in the development of Philippine cities.

The university awarded Dr. Rosete with the title of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialized area of Public Administration and Leadership in line with its Honoris Causa Doctorate Policies. The recognition is a testament to his commitment, dedication, and excellence in his field as a public servant, delivering quality service to the residents of cities where he served.

"Galak sa puso ang ating nararamdaman nang ating matanggap ang prestihiyosong parangal na ito. Ito ay nagpapatunay sa ating patuloy na pagbibigay ng dekalidad na serbisyo bilang opisyal ng pamahalaang lungsod ng Malabon, sa pangunguna ng ating kagalang-galang na Mayor Jeannie Sandoval. Ito ay magsisilbing inspirasyon sa atin upang ipagpatuloy ang mga nasimulan, gumawa ng mga programa para sa mga kapwa mamamayan, at isulong ang pagkakaisa sa pagtupad sa ating mga layunin at pangarap," the city administrator said.

An honorary doctorate is a degree conferred to individuals by an academic institution to honor their contributions and achievements in their respective fields, may it be in arts, science, philanthropy, or public service, or in the society in general.
