Sta. Lucia beefing up war chest with P1.5-B BDO loan

Real estate developer Sta. Lucia Land Ine. is beefing up its war chest in preparation for potential expansion opportunities.
Sta. Lucia said it is working to secure a loan of up to P1.5 billion with BDO Unibank Inc.
Sta. Lucia chief finance officer David dela Cruz told The STAR that the loan would serve as a standby facility just in case the company sees an opportunity.
“Real estate is opportunistic. We're still waiting for interest rates to go down,” he said.
