Sparkle artists proud to be part of 51st MMFF lineup

Several Sparkle artists are part of the lineup at the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) this year, appearing in multiple entries across horror, drama, romance and family-oriented films.

As the festival screens nationwide during the Christmas season, Sparkle talents headline or join ensemble casts in a number of competing titles.
One of the festival's horror entries is “Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins,” which features Sparkle artists Ysabel Ortega, Dustin Yu, Ashley Ortega, Elijah Alejo, Matt Lozano and Althea Ablan. Structured across three timelines, the film presents separate stories set in 1775, 2025 and 2050, tracing different manifestations of evil — from a convent during the Spanish colonial period to a deadly Halloween masquerade and a dystopian future.
