Sandigan junks graft raps vs private supplier

The Sandiganbayan has dismissed a graft case filed against a private supplier who was a co-accused of a former councilor of Cebu City in a pork barrel scam.
In a resolution promulgated on Wednesday, the anti-graft court's Fifth Division granted the appeal of Sisinio Villacin Jr., proprietor of Dell Pharmacy, to quash the charges filed against him by the Office of the Ombudsman in 2018.
The Fifth Division said Villacin's situation was similar to that of former Cebu City councilor James Anthony Cuenco and a certain Manuel Tipgos, whose cases were dismissed by the anti-graft court for "lack of jurisdiction."
