From Ironman to Miracle Man. Ginebra guard LA Tenorio's basketball journey continues to mark milestones that set a platform of legacy to inspire generations of fans from all walks of life.
He turns 41 tomorrow, the day Ginebra faces San Miguel Beer in a winner-take-all Game 7 of the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals at the Smart Araneta Coliseum with a ticket to the Last Dance at stake.
Last Sunday, Tenorio once more made the impossible possible. He hit a triple with a taller Jericho Cruz contesting the shot to lift Ginebra to an 88-87 win over San Miguel in Game 6 at the Big Dome. Scottie Thompson kicked out a pass from the lane to Tenorio who drilled it with 2.6 seconds left. After a timeout, CJ Perez attempted a four but missed at the buzzer.
