An annual Women's Month event that champions pop culture, sports, and authenticity
Over 2,500 attendees gathered to celebrate Women's Month at The Philippine STAR and Young STAR's She Slays 2025: GirlCoded Convention. This event redefined what it means to be a woman, sparking inspiring conversations about girl power. It featured several community panels, interactive workshops, celebrity meet-and-greets, and more.
"Growing up as a woman can be tough, especially when you're alone with no one to guide you," said Young STAR Editor-in-chief Andrea Panaligan. "But here, we get to connect with others and feel empowered to become the best version of ourselves. She Slays is more than just a convention; it's a place to explore, have fun, and discover what truly energizes you."
THREE DAYS OF NONSTOP MUSIC AND INTERACTIONS
Queen Domination allowed fans to meet actress Belle Mariano, cosplay star Charess, and drag artists Maxie Andreison and Marina Summers. Indie singer Pappel, hip-hop it-girl Ryannah J, FuerzaPH, and artists Dom Guyot and Mimi also enlivened the stage.
There was no shortage of fun and empowerment at She Slays 2025. Attendees also had the opportunity to connect with partner organizations sharing the same advocacy. Among them were Girls Congress, Philippine Women's Economic Network, Inc. (PhilWEN), PAP LGBT Psychology Special Interest Group, Philippine LGBT Chamber of Commerce, SPARK! Philippines, Samahan ng mga Pilipina para sa Reporma at Kaunlaran, and Pambansang Koalisyon ng Kababaihan sa Kanayunan (PKKK).
WHERE LEARNING, STRENGTH, AND CONFIDENCE UNITE
She Slays 2025: GirlCoded Convention wasn't just a celebration—it was a movement to break stereotypes and overcome the challenges women face daily.
