Championing safe, sustainable sanitation for every Filipino home

Some might wonder, why dedicate a day to toilets? You'll be surprised to know that the answer signals an important call to action.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), about half of the world's population lacks access to clean and safely managed sanitation facilities. Simply put, that's around 3.4 billion people. Even more alarming is the fact that roughly 300 million individuals, primarily girls and women, are left with no choice but to carry out open defecation due to a lack of accessible restrooms.

These statistics indicate an expanding problem that needs immediate intervention; it's not just an issue about waste, but the welfare of humankind is at risk.
