BINI is first Filipino group to win Best Asia Act at 2024 MTV EMAs

"Nation's Girl Group" BINI marked another milestone by becoming the first-ever Filipino recipient of the Best Asia Act award at the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs).
Aired live from Manchester, United Kingdom on Sunday, the P-pop sensation competed against notable Asian acts, including South Korea's Illit, Indonesia's Mahalini, Malaysia's Masdo and Japan's Sakurazaka46.
BINI is the first Filipino group to receive the prestigious Best Asia Act award. Previous nominees in this category included Moira Dela Torre (2023), Maymay Entrata (2022) and Sarah Geronimo (2014).
In a video message shared on MTV Asia's X account, BINI's leader, Jhoanna, expressed the group's gratitude, saying, "We're so thankful for winning the Best Asia Act in this year's MTV Europe Music Awards."
