Baguio seals PPP integrated terminal project

After going through a five-year process, the city government sealed a landmark public-private partnership with Megawide Construction Corp. for the development of the Baguio City Integrated Terminal the city's first major infrastructure project under a PPP scheme.

Mayor Benjamin Magalong and Megawide chief business development officer Jaime Raphael Feliciano signed the 40-year lease contract on Wednesday, formally clearing the way for the proposed P1.186-billion transport hub.
The signing capped a rigorous process that began in 2020 and was described by officials as among the most exacting PPP undertakings at the local level.
