Axelum Swings to Profitability in 2024 on Strong Sales

Axelum Resources Corp., a listed integrated manufacturer and exporter of premium coconut products, swung to profitability in 2024 on the back of record high sales.
Axelum, which is 34.8-percent owned by a subsidiary of Manuel V. Pangilinan-led Metro Pacific Investments Corp., reported a net income of P688 million in 2024, a reversal from a loss of P818 million incurred in 2023.
"Our turnaround strategies delivered positive results with some of our core product segments reaching new-highs owing to proper execution and improved market conditions," Axelum president and COO Henry Raperoga said.
