A VINDICATION FOR MARIS AND ANTHONY

After Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings got embroiled in a controversy when Anthony's girlfriend, Jam Villanueva, exposed their "liaison dangereuse," the success of their film, "Sosyal Climbers" (SC) is sort of a vindication for them.
After Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings got embroiled in a controversy when Anthony’s girlfriend, Jam Villanueva, exposed their “liaison dangereuse,” the success of their film, “Sosyal Climbers” (SC) is sort of a vindication for them.
It is currently the No. 1 movie on Netflix. They shot the flick long before Jam’s explosive revelation.
In “SC,” Maris and Anthony portray con artists. As Jessa and Ray, they are living a lie but their chemistry as a tandem is as real as can be. Their body language says it all.
If I could put a thought bubble over their heads, it would be: Why me?… Why you ?…Why not?
The duo’s other project “Incognito” is the second top TV show on Netflix. And Maris’ movie, “Sunshine” bagged the Crystal Bear for Best Film at Berlinale 2025. It only goes to show how crazy and unpredictable the “Marites culture” is.
After Maris and Anthony became victims of a lynch mob on social media, they are now the toast of the town.
