BJP Spokesperson and Convenor for International Affairs Gaurav Gupta today launched a scathing attack on the Congress party over its response to the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh, accusing it of repeatedly diluting and rationalising targeted attacks for political convenience.
Reacting to remarks made by senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh, Gupta said describing the lynching and persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh as a “reaction” reflects a disturbing mindset that seeks to normalise religious violence instead of condemning it unequivocally.
