GDC Paloura hosts 'Pranayam' session

In the lead-up to International Yoga Day, Government Degree College (GDC) Paloura organized an engaging Pranayam session on campus as part of a month-long health and wellness campaign by the NCC's 8 J&K Girls Battalion.
Prof. Chinmei Sharma, Head of the Music Department, led the session, explaining the benefits of various Pranayam techniques including Brahmari, Chandrabhedi, and Anulom Vilom. She highlighted how controlled breathing enhances mental clarity, reduces stress, and supports physical well-being.
