Drug peddler arrested with intoxicants

In amajor breakthrough under the ongoing anti-drug campaign “Ek Yudh Nashe Ke Virudh,”Reasi Police arrested a drug smuggler during a night patrol in Katra and seized a significant quantity of banned pharmaceutical drugs.
The accused, Jamaat Ali alias Biniya, son of Abdul Haq and resident of Padoh Khairi, Katra, was intercepted by a patrolling team of Police Station Katra while walking from Kakryal towards Katra. Upon frisking, the police recovered 270 Tramadol tablets and 2,870 Alprazolam tablets concealed ina plastic sack.
