Dimple leads protest against water scarcity in Jammu

Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir president Sunil Dimple on Saturday led a strong protest against the Jal Shakti Department, Public Health Engineering (PHE) and Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) over acute scarcity of drinking water in Jammu city, blocking the Janipur-High Court road for nearly an hour.
Holding empty buckets and utensils, protesters accused the authorities of failing to supply potable water while allegedly selling water tankers online to residents already facing shortages. Dimple said large parts of Jammu city are reeling under a severe water crisis, forcing people to roam s
