The Congress party on Saturday staged a massive protest in Jammu under the banner “MGNREGA Bachao Sangram”, demanding protection of the MGNREGA scheme and restoration of full statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.

Hundreds of party leaders and workers participated and submitted a memorandum to the President of India through the Deputy Commissioner, Jammu.The memorandum was submitted by former Minister and DCC Jammu Urban President Yogesh Sawhney along with DCC Jammu Rural President Neeraj Kundan.
