'Hiding truth': HC trashes govt report on Vadodara boat tragedy

THE Gujarat High Court on Wednesday rejected the state government's inquiry report on the Vadodara Harani boat capsize incident, terming it an "attempt to hide the truth in the veil of words" and direc ed a re-investigation.
During the hearing of a PIL, the Advocate General presented the government's report on the accident. However, the court rejected the report saying it read like a fictional story and warned that if the report was not withdrawn, it would issue a strict order. At this, the Advocate General withdrew the report.
