FIR against 15 students over ragging death of junior at Patan med college

AN FIR has been filed against 15 students of GMERS Medical College and Hospital in Patan, Gujarat, for their alleged involvement in the death of an 18-year-old student who was a victim of ragging. College officials confirmed on Monday that all the 15 students have been suspended.
The incident took place on the night of November 16, When Anil Bhai Natwar Bhai Methania, a first-year student at Dharpur Medical College, collapsed after enduring a brutal three-hour ragging by his seniors. Despite his friends, efforts, he lost consciousness and was declared dead by doctors.
Anil, who had joined the college just a month ago, Was reportedly called around 8.30 pm for "introduction".
