CHIEF Minister N Rangasamy stressed that the Puducherry government is committed to providing comprehensive specialised medical care locally to prevent patients from travelling to Chennai or other cities while inaugurating the Mission Healthy Hearts awareness program, organised by the Department of Health and Family Welfare at Rajiv Gandhi Government Women and Children's Hospital (RGWCH), on Friday.
Addressing the gathering, Rangasamy said the government is actively addressing gaps in advanced treatment by engaging specialist doctors from institutions like Apollo Hospitals. Efforts are also underway to upgrade healthcare infrastructure, including converting the Community Health Centre in Karikalapakkam into a 100-bedded hospital, h
