TAMILAGA Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader Vijay asserted that his party plans for social change as it comes to power.
Speaking at the inaugural session of the party's two-day booth committee agents' conference in Coimbatore, Vijay emphasised that the conference is not only about votes but also about its plans for societal improvement once it attains power.
"We aim to form a new government for the public and their welfare. Thus, this meeting is not just about discussing votes; it is also about how we can connect with the public," he said.
He said that many political parties might come to power by making false promises and deceiving the people, and he is committed to putting an end to such practices.
