The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court directed a trial court in Kanniyakumari to complete the trial in a case pertaining to the death of a woman due to medical negligence in 2012 within six months.
THE Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court directed a trial court in Kanniyakumari to complete the trial in a case pertaining to the death of a woman due to medical negligence in 2012 within six months. The trial court was instructed to conduct the trial on a day-to-day basis, and to remand the accused if they try to delay the trial.
Justice N Anand Venkatesh gave the directions while dismissing a batch of petitions filed by six accused in the case, seeking to quash the criminal proceedings pending against them.
