FROM draping sarees and wearing churidars to applying sindoor (vermilion) on their foreheads, foreign women married to Malayali men are embracing Kerala's traditions.
Four such women — Olga Pardo from Russia, Li Taiying from China, Anne Marie from Belgium, and Melanie Marquez from the Philippines — shared how they adapted to Kerala's culture, during an interactive session organised by Akashvani and Chavara Cultural Centre on Friday, on the eve of International Women's Day.
