Calls it a 'remarkable achievement'; attributes success to dedicated efforts of revenue and survey departments
MORE than eight lakh hectares of land have been successfully measured under the government's ambitious Digital Resurvey programme, Revenue Minister K Rajan announced on Saturday, terming it a "remarkable achievement" for the state.
Land across nearly 58.65 lakh land parcels was measured under the project implemented under the banner "Ente Bhoomi" (My land), he said.
"This is a remarkable achievement," Rajan said as he attributed the success to the dedicated efforts of the revenue and survey department teams.
"Field survey is over in 334 of the 529 villages where it began, and is progressing swiftly in the remaining 195 villages," he said.
