SHREYAS Iyer has been a different beast this season. Everything seems to be going according to his will. On Wednesday, Shreyas demonstrated his form with a scintillating knock that helped Punjab Kings silence the crowd at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai during the ongoing IPL.
Shreyas' 41-ball 72 helped Punjab beat Chennai Super Kings by four wickets and two balls to spare. While it was a treat for Punjab fans, it was just the opposite for the home crowd.
CSK had entered the contest with a goal to keep their slim hopes of playoff qualification alive. This latest defeat has meant that they are now out of the running to achieve that.
