Axis Bank profit declines to ₹7,118 cr on low fee income

Despite a growth in the core interest income, Axis Bank on Thursday reported a marginal drop in standalone net income at ₹7,118 crore in the March quarter, lower than ₹7,130 crore in the year-ago period, as its trading income fell substantially in the reporting period from over ₹1,000 crore to a low ₹173 crore.
