TRANSCO to Invest ₹12k cr to Meet Growing Power Demand

THE Andhra Pradesh Transmission Corporation (APTRANSCO) is set to invest over ₹12,000 crore to enhance the State's power transmission network, aiming to meet growing electricity demand and ensure uninterrupted supply across sectors.
At a review meeting held at the AP Secretariat, Chief Secretary K Vijayanand outlined the investment plan: ₹155.04 crore for seven recently completed projects, ₹8,131 crore for 62 ongoing works, ₹363.13 crore for newly awarded contracts, and ₹3,614 crore for 31 upcoming projects under various government schemes.
