Smart Ration Cards From Aug 25: Min

MINISTER for Civil Supplies and Eluru District In-charge Minister Nadendla Manohar on Monday announced that smart ration cards will be issued to eligible beneficiaries across Andhra Pradesh from August 25.
After chairing the Eluru district development review meeting at the Collectorate, the Minister told the media that 6.18 lakh new smart ration cards will be issued in the district, including 8,550 in Eluru. He explained that the new cards will be the size of an ATM card and will replace the existing ration cards.
